The contest offers a total of $12,000 in prizes, with the top three in the adult group, middle-aged group, and senior group receiving awards.

Why a Singing Contest

為什麼要舉辦唱歌比賽？

Amid COVID-19, the US sees a rise in mental health crises, especially in the AAPI community.

MHACC is dedicated to supporting AAPI mental health with the National Sunshine Mental Health Cup Singing Contest in every May, coinciding with AAPI Heritage Month and Mental Health Awareness Month.

The contest promotes well-being and mental health in the Asian American community through therapeutic singing.

在COVID-19 新冠疫情期間，美國人的精神健康危機加劇，亞裔美國人和太平洋島民（AAPI）社群尤其受到影響。

美國華裔精神健康聯盟（MHACC）致力於通過每年5月的全美陽光精神健康杯歌唱大賽，來支持AAPI社群的精神健康。

此次活動與亞太裔傳統月和精神健康意識月同時進行，通過歌唱促進亞太裔美國社區的福祉和精神健康意識。

A diverse panel of judges will select a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner in each group
